Shopping Center Showdown

I wake up in my old house. I go downstairs to my grandmothers apartment, and there is an wooden table set up. Then i hear the whispers from another room. They are talking about "getting" me. I run from the house into the back yard, and they follow. I circle to the front yard and come through the front door. Everything then changes to the inside of a mall. There are very few people and when they see me I must run. I do not know why they want to get me but I cannot be caught. I escape, but I am stuck inside the building and so I try to find a place to sleep.

Ahead of me is a bathroom. I head in, it is set up strangely. It is about the two times the size of normal theater bathrooms with tan doors on every stall. Everything else is white. I climb into a stall and notice that there is no backing to it, nor a side on the right side. There is a space behind it with a large trash bin.

The door swings open and six people walk in. Five men and a single woman. I hide. "Spread out, check if he is here" the leader says. One of the men walks up to the stall I'm in and looks under the door. Seeing nothing he straightens up. But as I look to my right I notice that the mirror is reflecting the room and must be reflecting me as well. As I realize this the single woman turns and we stare at each others reflections. She yells, and I kick the door open into the guys face.

Jumping out, I run towards the door out. A large man jumps in my way and so without slowing down I jump and kick him in the face, then spin in the air punching his crotch. I land on the other side of him and continue on. I kick two others in the face before leaving the bathroom at a run. More yells echo off the walls around me. I run by a stand with rolled up paper, a decent fighting weapon. Picking one up I head for safety. An extremely large muscular guy pops out of nowhere. He grabs me by the neck, choking me. Using the paper I jab his wrist making him release his grip. Then i kick his inside knee while uppercutting his jaw with the paper. He goes down in terrible pain. I make it to the glass doors and push on them, I reach freedom as I awake.

Tower of the Undead

My company's truck comes to a stop, I hop off into the swamp next to the road. No biters in here at the moment. I am point this trip, dangerous ground ahead. Our mission is to reach the Tower; then defend it against them. Three miles through treacherous mud, trying to stay completely silent, slow going.

We made it - for now. From the base is stands 20 meters high. At 6 meters from the base flat slippery metal flares out to the ground so that it is impossible to climb up. There is only a single weak point where we can get in and up to the first platform. A small meter wide hole on the northern face. It creates a small chamber where a chewer ma have accidentally come in and wait in the dark. We call it the Death Pot = Here my job becomes forty times more dangerous.

Using my sonar goggles I check to see if there is any body in the death, I get readings for four large objects but I cannot see clearly if they are figures or stumps. Taking three quick breaths I kneel under gun ahead of me. I make it through the whole unmolested surfacing with my back against a wall. Only the water dripping off my body, and the beating of my heart echoes around the metallic chamber, and it sounds like beating rain. Removing a bobbing torch from my gear I press the button and toss it ahead of me, as well as a green glow stick in to the water ahead. As they hit a figure scrambles toward them. A single chewer, thank the heavens. I put two into its skull before moving up and over to the ladder in the middle of the room.

Hours later, we stand atop the Tower. Our radios screeching and hollering to gather them around us so that we can end their suffering. Thousands upon hundreds claw and stumble towards us. "Weapons at fire ready, Fire at will" Sergeant commands "You are Gamma Team 6, the coolest killers around" The only pep talk we need

Below us they trickle in, then begin flowing like a broken dam. Shots ring out for nights on end. We are ordered to stay longer, and so we get an air drop with more rations and rounds. Our fourth week there Amos is losing his mind because of the moaning, he puts a bullet in his head. Poor new guy, his first run and we do a month out. After this Sergeant makes us all wear our deafners along with our music.

Around mid-week five things became problematic. The bodies were piling up faster than we could get rid of them. We called in for a pick up but all birds were busy, only one boat was willing to come into this territory at night. We took it.

A solid moon was out this night, we had shut off the radio two days earlier so there were few chewers around. Our ride arrived a klick away, we had to hustle to it. As we climbed down and out of our Tower two things happened at the same time.
1. The Tower was hit by a helicopter, effectively throwing us from it
2. Our radio was smacked on, and the screeching blasted loudly around us
Hitting the muck I lost grip of my backpack but held onto my rifle. My night world got pitch as I was consumed by the water and mud. I stood sputtering and gagging from the sick sulfur. Franki and Dewey landed next to me, they were on their feet as well. Dewey had all his gear and weapon, but Franki only had his back pack.

Without a word we started making our way to the boat. We made it halfway there when they appeared. They were everywhere, surrounding us. We took our time making our shots count, we couldn't waste. We had six clips between us, each only holding 20 rounds for our main weapons. Our sidearms had single clips. Took us ten minutes to get within sight of the boat. Never seeing another member from our company along the way.

There was no one standing on the deck of the boat, so Franki remarked "They must be below decks all sealed up" Once upon the deck, we made our way to the main door. It was hanging open slightly with a rustling noise coming up from inside. Pulling my sidearm, I took point once again heading into the dark below.

(Sadly, i woke up before anything crazy happened. The differences in time/distances like "weeks, minutes, klicks, meters" were not actually gone through, but my mind felt like those were the times/distances that had passed. This was a really detailed one)

Strange Science

It is a post-apocalyptic world. Our rebel forces are camped out in the old lecture hall in the fourth district. Everything is walled to protect us from the war still going on. There are hundreds spaced about all working on one project or another. There is fear sketched into all of their faces but determination is breaking through.

I walk into my makeshift office. The far wall is shattered now being only made of half of what was there. The other half is sheet metal ad reinforced steel. My generals are standing over the map.
"Where will you go sir?" one asks me.
"I will go wherever I can trying to find any person or thing that can help us in our war" I reply.
"But sir, the ocean itself has turned against us"
"Not to worry; I have devised a system that will keep us safe from the cold hands of the sea"
"Sir?"
"My ship as you know has the ability to create a bubble of atmosphere around the ship that keeps us living and keep the ocean from flowing in-"
"But sir that was made when the ocean wasn't alive...many ships have been sunk because the ocean has forced itself past the Atmo-Shield"
"Exactly, but I have devised the Garlic-Atmo-Shield; it is another slimmer bubble around the atmo-shield that repels the living portion of the sea"
"Sir! That is brilliant!"
