Titian Titan

It is nighttime as I walk beside the fence at the bottom of the hill. It is made of wire and wood. Staring up at the house the expansive yard stretches before me. Mottled with holes and toys; fresh dirt laying across the crisp grass. There is barbed wire stretched across the wooden X's at the top of the hill, allowing only one entrance. Entering the house there is an orange glow about the place. It looks as if an earthquake had hit...tables, chairs, and lamps strewn about the house. Walking up the stairs, jumping the break in them to reach the second floor. I search the first bedroom; looking in the desk against the wall for a book of some kind, listening for any signs of life. I gaze outside noticing a large truck now sitting on the lawn I had traversed. Fear grips my heart as I realize I am not alone. Spinning quickly I see the flash of orange passing the room I am in. Moving as quietly as I can I make my way back to the stairwell. Before I can make the leap to the lower half of stairs, I hear this piercing screech from behind me. I jump as the titan slashes at me, landing improperly my ankle twists and I tumble down the stairs. Dragging myself up I hobble to the front door, out of the corner of my eye I see the book I needed. Grasping it to my chest I limp from the house never looking back to see who was following me. I reach the bottom of the hill and pass through the fence. I finally turn back looking into the window of the room I had occupied seeing the titan hanging from a rope. Confusion sets in as I hear a whistling from above and behind me. In an instant the house is hit with a cannonade of bombs, their explosions jolt me from sleep.
